Song Library

At our song circles, we prefer to teach songs by ear and typically do not provide printed lyrics. We have found that having a sheet of paper can sometimes become a distraction, as it may encourage people to focus solely on the paper rather than the communal experience. We intentionally select songs that are easy to learn through call and echo, allowing us to keep our attention on the community. That said, we do value the ability to remember the lyrics, and there are occasions when having them written down can be helpful as a memory aid.

This is the lyric library to original songs caught by members of the Shine Song Collective. In some cases, chords and recordings are also included.
